Domestic Couples

A Domestic Couple is made up of two individuals: usually married or long term partners who work together as a team providing daily domestic and personal service for a household. Any combination of service is possible, based on the employer’s property and needs. Couple positions are almost always live-in positions and often separate accommodation is provided.

Responsibilities: The specific resonsibilities of the Domestic Couple will vary depending on the needs of the household. Domestic Couple positions can include household management, cooking, housekeeping, caretaking, gardening, driving, odd jobs, Nanny and Personal Assistant resposibilities.

Salary and benefits: The Domestic Couple’s salary and benefits vary dependent on the different duties, and the levels of professionalism and service required. Salaries range from £150 to £500 net per person per week plus benefits such as paid sick days, paid holidays, medical insurance and reimbursement for car expenses.
